(Baghdad: al-Furat News) The member of the Finance Committee parliamentary representative for Nineveh, Mahasen Hamdoun, that the federal budget for the year 2019, "explosive".
Hamdoun told the {Euphrates News}, that this budget "is the second largest inflation is not austerity," noting that "the investment budget rose from 25 trillion to 32 trillion dinars."
She added that "the province has never been fair and allocated 17 billion dinars only and the balance of investment did not exceed 200 billion dinars, despite the large destruction in the province and justified the government committee that this budget is prepared by the previous government."
"Nineveh's share of the provinces is equal to 1.7% and it did not get its rights as if its share of the budget is a revenge for the province," Hamdoun said.
"The budget can be adjusted without returning to the government and the error in planning the budget and the current opinion is to amend them, but if this is difficult we will resort to the option to return it to the government."
She pointed out that "the allocations of the presidency of the House of Representatives is the lowest possible and there is no indication of increase and there are no appointments in the Council of Ministers," noting "we will oblige the Council of Ministers in the appointment of contracts by the budget of 2019."
