The Iraqi Ministry of Transport on Monday issued a clarification on a train, cutting off the road in Baghdad.
"The passenger train from Falluja to Baghdad on Monday morning (7/45) was subjected to an accidental incident in the area of Aden Square caused by a large frame on the railway line by the members of the Federal Police guard station to control," the ministry said in a statement. The movement of cars, which led to the exit of the locomotive off the track of the railway. "
"The engineering and technical team pulled out part of the train and opened the road in Aden Square within a period of not more than 40 minutes to open the traffic of the cars and then the locomotive was returned to the railway line and repaired, and then left the train today by its scheduled date from Baghdad Central Station at 3 o'clock The Fallujah railway station at 4 pm ".
"The Minister of Transport, Abdullah Laibi, instructed the General Company of Iraqi Railways to coordinate with the General Directorate of Traffic and the Federal Police to avoid the recurrence of these incidents, and the rehabilitation of regular crossings in all respects and the installation of surveillance cameras."
