Oil production in the United States hit a new record, the highest ever, exceeding 11.5 million bpd in October, government data showed on Monday.
The US Energy Information Administration said in a monthly report that US crude production rose 79 thousand barrels per day in October to 11.537 million barrels per day.
The administration revised its oil production data in September by 17,000 bpd to 11.458 million bpd
