A coalition of state law, on Tuesday, an attempt to restore Baathists to the political front, while Washington called for respect for Iraq.
The coalition spokesman Bahaa al-Din al-Nouri said that "recently witnessed the holding of several conferences in some countries to glorify the buried Baath and demand its return to the political front in Iraq, and these conferences embraced countries advocating support for democracy and peace of peoples such as the United States of America, and this makes us in a coalition State of law we put many indicators on the US role in supporting the return of the Baath, which confirms Washington's dubious intentions to destabilize the political process in Iraq. "

"We confirm today our position that refuses to hold these conferences, although it can not affect the process of political process or enable the Baath to return to the Iraqi political front again, but the embrace of these conferences by Washington and other countries, is what we reject in toto," noting That "Washington must respect the sovereignty of Iraq and the democratic political process, not to embrace such conferences."
He pointed out that "there is more dangerous than holding these conferences, an attempt to restore Baathist figures to the political front again, as happened in the Iraqi Foreign Ministry, which is unfortunate that the minister requests the accountability and justice to exclude Baathists to return to the ministry, Baathist presence in embassies and consulates, as it was better for the minister to purge the ministry of Baathism and not to bring them back to the front again. "
He stressed that "the countries that want peace and claim their support for democracy to respect Iraq and the history of its people and its struggle against dictatorship, and not to embrace conferences trying to return Iraq to the dark stage of its history, all the blood that brightened to end the rule of the Baath, must be met with respect and reverence and preserve what has been achieved Of a radical change in the political process and development, and not the return of bloody rule again.
