A report published by an American channel close to President Donald Trump revealed, on Saturday, that there are signs that the resigned Prime Minister [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] be reassigned to his position again by forming a Sunni-Shiite Kurdish coalition.
The report, published by the American "Al-Hurra" channel and viewed by him / the information, stated that "the new coalition includes both the Al-Fateh coalition led by Hadi al-Amiri and the State of Law coalition led by Nuri al-Maliki, in addition to the Kurdistan Democratic Party led by Masoud Barzani and the Iraqi Forces Alliance led by Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi." .
He added that "these parties are preparing to start serious consultations in order to vote again on the appointment of Abdul-Mahdi as prime minister," stressing at the same time that "there is a clear rejection from other political forces for this step, most notably the Victory Alliance headed by Haider al-Abadi and the stream of wisdom led by Ammar al-Hakim and a coalition Patriotism led by Iyad Allawi and various Kurdish forces in addition to the alliance led by Muqtada al-Sadr.
He continued, "This refusal stems from the vision of this forces represented in its belief that the religious authority does not support the appointment of Abdul-Mahdi again as prime minister," stating that "Abdul-Mahdi's survival in the post remained ambitious for the majority of political forces, regardless of their national backgrounds and political orientations."
