Trump pledges to protect the children of illegal immigrants in this case

- US President Donald Trump pledged to provide temporary protection for the children of illegal immigrants if Democrats agreed to the clause on financing the construction of a border wall with Mexico .
Trump said in a letter that "if Democrats approve the adoption of the federal budget and the item on financing the border wall, it will provide protection for the children of immigrants who entered the country illegally so as not to be deported."
In his speech, Trump said he would provide $ 800 million for urgent humanitarian aid and $ 805 million to fight drugs from financing the wall.
Trump added that he would protect 700,000 immigrant children who had entered the country illegally and another 300,000 who had expired in the past.
The US government has been partially closed over a dispute between President Trump and the Democrats, who have refused to approve the federal budget for a $ 5.7 billion provision to finance the border wall on Mexico's border.
