Baghdad: Foreign Minister Mohammed Ali al-Hakim met with his Saudi counterpart Ibrahim al-Assaf on the sidelines of the Davos World Economic Forum.
The two sides discussed the Iraqi-Saudi relations, especially trade and development between the two countries, in addition to the political situation in the region.
Al-Hakim and Al-Assaf stressed "the depth of the relationship between the two brotherly countries, the centrality of the Palestinian cause and the need to face the regional and international challenges wisely and consensually, in order to achieve the aspirations of the two countries.
