revealed the US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo , the determination of the United States to develop a plan to stop the "expansion of Iranian influence" in the region, while noting the desire of Washington had to make sure the money is not available to the commander of the Quds Force , Qassem Soleimani . 

Pompeo said the United States will work in the coming weeks to develop a plan in cooperation with several countries to develop a vision on how to stop the expansion of Iran's influence in the region.

He stressed the minister, in remarks made after the Middle East conference in the Polish capital of Warsaw, that Washington "wants to make sure not to provide money to the commander of the Quds Force , Qassem Soleimani to spread terrorism , " stressing at the same time that " the United States supports the Iranian people want him success . " . 

He said in an interview with Al-Hurra television that Hezbollah, which is supported by Iran, "is stronger today than it was years ago." He expressed his regret over Lebanon's lack of attendance at the Warsaw conference, which was attended by more than 60 countries, including Arab countries. 

"For the first time in recent history, we have seen an Israeli delegation together with Arab delegations," Pompeo said. On the other hand, he regretted "the absence of Palestinians from the international meeting".

Pompeo spoke of the forthcoming US withdrawal from Syria, saying it was "a change of tactics, not a strategy." 

As for the crisis in Sudan, the US minister said: "We hope that the voices of the Sudanese people will be heard and that a transitional process, if it happens, will be led by the people."
