    Syrian President Bashar al-Assad met with an Iraqi and Iranian military delegation and discussed ways to enhance coordination between the three countries in the operational aspect of counter-terrorism. 
    The delegation included Major General Mohammad Baqari, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Othman Al Ghanmi, Chief of Staff of the Iraqi Army and a number of military leaders from the two countries, in the presence of General Ali Abdullah Ayoub, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense.
