The Ministry of Planning announced on Sunday the low rate of monthly inflation and the annual rise for the month of February.

The ministry's spokesman Abdul-Zahra al-Hindawi said in a statement to the twilight news that the general index for the month of February 2019 in Iraq was (104.4%), decreased by (0.5%) compared with the month of January 2019, (1.1%), clothing and footwear (1.2%), housing (0.5%), and communication (0.3%).

Hindawi added that the annual inflation rate increased during the month of February 2019 to (0.4%) compared to February 2018, when the index reached (104.0%), while the index of inflation index basis (0.1%) from the previous month and increased by (0.3%) compared to With the month of February 2018.
