Khamenei: We will not negotiate with America and we will respond to it through non-military pressure
Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei reiterated his refusal to negotiate with Washington, especially over Iran's military capabilities, and said his country's response to US actions would be pressure on it.
"We will not negotiate in particular about our military capabilities," Khamenei said during a meeting in Tehran on Wednesday with a group of professors and researchers at universities and scientific centers in the country. The meaning of negotiations in this case is to conclude a deal, that is to give up our defense capabilities. "
Khamenei considered it useless to negotiate with the United States in general, pointing out that negotiations are a tactic for America to complete the strategy of pressure on Iran.

Khamenei stressed that the response to the pressure of the United States will be pressure on them, saying: "This pressure is not military as they claim, but to reduce Iran's commitments to the nuclear agreement."
