The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities announced on Sunday that it is continuing to implement the sewage networks and the central treatment units for the Shatrah district in Dhi Qar Governorate through the General Directorate of sewage in one of the ministry's formations.
"The project is considered one of the most important infrastructure projects, serving 280,000 people in the province," the ministry's media center said in a statement received by Mawazine News. "The project included the construction of 280 km of heavy water networks, "The completion of 80% of the work of the central processing unit and 35% of the work of the laying of networks and excavation work and gravel layer layers and the installation of the Blandk layer and the installation of sweepers sedimentation ponds" .
He added that "the project contributes to improving the service and environmental situation in the judiciary by providing an integrated system to treat heavy water and discharge it to the river Gharraf after it is processed also contributes to reduce the impact of environmental pollution and reduce pressure on water resources by providing water suitable for watering the agricultural. s
