Al-Masoudi: Iraq needs five to seven years to pay off debts

Masoudi said in a press statement: "The government began the process of payment of [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] debt through the exploitation of the surplus of the supplementary budget to pay to international bodies that have provided loans to Iraq."
He added that " [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] , in order to pay the full debt, will need (5-7) years to repay external debt provided the stability of [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] prices at the current level and the completion of high-level investment projects and the development of non-oil revenues of the government, while reducing the operating budget."
He explained: "The failure to launch any degree of employment during the current budget and before, does not relate to the subject of debt owed by Iraq, as the country does not need to degrees functional."
