Diyala Council: 95 percent of the province's agricultural production is over

The Committee of [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] in the Diyala Provincial Council that the neglect of successive governments of the agricultural sector and the peasant, led to the deterioration of the agricultural reality and damage to the peasant and turned to a secondary issue without trying to revive it again.
The head of the committee, Hakki al-Jubouri, said in a press statement: "95 percent of the agricultural production exported by Diyala to the rest of the provinces and outside the country, ended due to terrorism, displacement, lack of support for the farmer, and borders open to the importer."
He stressed: "The peasant's orientation for other work and migration to the city did not come from a vacuum, but because of the thirst of land and prices of imported product low versus the national product in addition to lack of pest control, all of which led to the reduction of agricultural land actually produced to less than 5 percent."
