BAGHDAD - The Media and Communications Commission issued a statement on Monday on Alhurra TV, while the statement included suspending the license of the offices of the channel for three months and suspending its activities until it re-corrects its position. He called on the channel to "broadcast an official apology from the Office of the management of the channel in Iraq because of the programs caused by contempt and abuse of symbols and personalities of religious institutions." The Commission also called on the channel to "abide by the rules of media broadcasting rules and not to exceed its articles in its reports on the Iraqi issue," and stressed that "these actions serve as a final warning to the channel," threatening to take a more severe punishment in the event of repeated abuse and breach of the articles of the rules of broadcasting rules again.[/size]
