    Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi and his government delegation to China on Sunday will visit the Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei and tour the landmarks of the Great Wall and the capital Beijing. Officially with the Chinese President and Premier, the opening of the Third Iraqi-Chinese Economic Forum, after which a number of important agreements and memoranda of cooperation will be signed between the two friendly countries.

    This came during his visit to Shanghai, where he arrived on Saturday, where he met with the Governor of the city, An Yong, who welcomed the Iraqi delegation, which includes ministers and governors, on behalf of the Chinese people and the Communist Party and the government. The city of Shanghai with its diverse and well-known companies is ready to work under the guidance of the Iraqi government and in all areas, especially infrastructure.
    The Governor of Shanghai pointed to the depth of the Iraqi and Chinese civilizations and the importance of the Silk Road linking the two countries since ancient times. And renewed the Chinese official, the willingness of these companies to work in Iraq.
    The Prime Minister briefed the members of the delegation of ministers, governors and the sectors they represent and those needed by all the Iraqi provinces that have suffered from a series of wars and terrorism that destroyed their infrastructure. A paradigm shift and move to the status of implementation and to the achievements and agreements contribute to the reconstruction of Iraq and infrastructure to be the basis for construction projects.
    The Iraqi delegation, headed by Abdul Mahdi, conducted a tour of the city that included the electric power equipment manufacturing company (Shanghai Electric). Projects, needs and opportunities in the fields of work of (GE) related to energy, transport and infrastructure, cooperation in administrative and financial aspects, training of Iraqi staff and developing local expertise.
    The Prime Minister and the official delegation concluded his visit to Shanghai by visiting Yang Shan Port and meeting with officials at the port, which contributes to the Iraqi-Chinese trade exchange. Especially in Basra and the port of Faw. ”
