[ltr] An official at the U.S. Department of Defense, the United States will resume training soldiers of the Iraqi special forces in Jordan in the context of Washington's support for Baghdad in its war on armed militants.[/ltr]

Quoted by the Reuters news agency official, who asked not to be named, as saying that a small number of members of the U.S. Special Forces will participate with the Iraqi forces to combat terrorism in the training, which will begin in early June in Jordan, adding that 50 soldiers will participate in a training program similar to an introductory course to combat terrorism U.S. forces conducted with the Jordanian and Iraqi forces in Jordan earlier this year.[/ltr]
