The Coalition of Iraqi Forces calls for meeting the demands of the demonstrators and holding the corrupt to account

The Alliance of Iraqi Forces held an emergency meeting to discuss reforms and measures to meet the demands of the demonstrators.
In a statement, the Alliance of Iraqi Forces stressed the need to meet the legitimate and true demands of the demonstrators, which can be addressed by providing decent living for all citizens, providing job opportunities for young people, implementing exceptional and quick measures to fight corruption and corrupt persons, and putting serious mechanisms for that have tangible results on the ground. And to proceed with building state institutions, confining weapons to its own hands, preserving the country's sovereignty, and preventing foreign interference.
The coalition stressed the establishment of a specific timetable binding on the government to implement the reform packages pledged, and proceed with the announcement of other reform packages; to meet the needs of citizens.
He called on the coalition to maintain peaceful demonstrations and the safety of public and private institutions and property, calling on demonstrators and security forces restraint and not to be dragged into violence and reactions, declaring its support for the commander-in-chief of the armed forces to take the necessary measures to protect the demonstrators and property and to impose security and stability.
The Alliance of Iraqi Forces stressed the right of citizens to express their opinions and peaceful demonstration, and not to be harmed, and to hold accountable the trolls who are trying to derail the demonstrations and take legal action against them, and to be controlled through the identification of places of demonstrations, the responsibility of the security authorities.
