Protesters burn the headquarters of the Badr Organization, the Dawa Party, Asaib Ahl al-Haq and the building of Dhi Qar Governorate

Protesters burned, in the early hours of Saturday morning, the [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/133740/%D9%85%D9%82%D8%B1 %D9%85%D9%86%D8%B8%D9%85%D8%A9 %D8%A8%D8%AF%D8%B1][size=13]headquarters of the Badr Organization[/url] , the Dawa Party, Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq and [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/2590/%D9%85%D8%AD%D8%A7%D9%81%D8%B8%D8%A9 %D8%B0%D9%8A %D9%82%D8%A7%D8%B1]the Dhi Qar Governorate[/url] building in Nasiriyah, in addition to burning the headquarters of the Task Force Regiment in the city center and cutting roads and bridges with burning tires, in protest against the assassination of the activist Hussein Ali Al-Asmi.
This comes as Dhi Qar police chief ordered the formation of an investigation committee into the assassination of activist Ali Al-Asami.
Sources said that demonstrators burned the house of the head of the security committee in [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/2590/%D9%85%D8%AD%D8%A7%D9%81%D8%B8%D8%A9 %D8%B0%D9%8A %D9%82%D8%A7%D8%B1]the[/url] dissolved [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/2590/%D9%85%D8%AD%D8%A7%D9%81%D8%B8%D8%A9 %D8%B0%D9%8A %D9%82%D8%A7%D8%B1]Dhi Qar Governorate[/url] Council, Jabbar al-Musawi.
The demonstrators' actions come in protest against the killing of Al-Asmi, who is the brother of one of the prominent activists in the popular protests, in Dhi Qar Governorate.
And the people of [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] city[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and hundreds of activists spread the body of the militant al-Asmi, who was assassinated by an unknown armed group.
Activists reported that unidentified gunmen opened fire on Al-Asmi, due to his continued participation in the protest demonstrations and his calls for the departure of the parties and the ruling class.
This comes as protesters in the southern governorates continue their sit-ins against the political class's lag in responding to their demands.
The demonstrators organized marches in the squares and fields of sit-ins in the governorates of Muthanna, Wasit and Sadr Square in Najaf, Nasiriyah, and Basra, chanting chants calling for the ruling class to leave.
Security forces erected anti-explosion walls on a bridge leading to the Presidential Palace in the heavily fortified Green Zone, the center of government. The move comes in anticipation of future demonstrations there, with resentment and anger escalating among the protesters, due to the failure of President Barham Saleh to name a new prime minister.
