Al-Dawa Party distanced itself from Al-Sudani's association with his organization

     Baghdad / Range

Al-Da'wa Party is dismissing the former Minister of Commerce Falah al-Sudani on Saturday in connection with reports of his arrest at a Beirut airport.
"Some media outlets have reported the arrest of former Trade Minister Falah al-Sudani in Beirut by Interpol on charges of integrity," the Dawa Islamic Party said in a statement.
"Falah al-Sudani broke away from the party's organization in 2000 and took office in 2006 as a representative of another bloc," the statement said. "Therefore, we ask the media to be careful in transmitting the news and not to mix the papers intentionally or spontaneously."
Sources have not confirmed (extent) of their validity has confirmed that the Lebanese authorities arrested the Sudanese minister required for INTERPOL at Saad Hariri airport. According to Lebanese media.
The Sudanese took over as trade minister in June 2006 with the formation of Maliki's first government. Like al-Sudani, who was a member of the Dawa Party / the Iraqi Organization, he was a parliament member in May 2009 after being indicted by the Parliamentary Integrity Commission for involvement in administrative corruption cases. The Sudanese resigned from his post in June of the same year after his arrest at Baghdad airport while trying to get out of the country, and my brother was arrested Sudanese on charges of involvement in the cases, which accused the former minister.
Although the Iraqi judiciary issued a decision in 2009 to prevent the Sudanese to travel abroad after being accused of embezzling large sums of money from the Ministry of Commerce, and the establishment of a fictitious company with his brother and son, but later managed to leave the country.
In June 2012, the Integrity Committee of the House of Representatives announced that the judicial authorities in absentia sentenced the former Minister of Commerce to seven years in prison for convicting him of corruption. The Government referred his case to the Interpol police to arrest him wherever he may be.
