, Deputy Governor of Nineveh Governorate, Ahmad al-Jubouri, commented today, Thursday, on the statement of President Barham Salih, who waved the resignation.
Al-Jubouri called in a tweet on the social media site, "tensioning" the president of the republic to "assign those whom he deems appropriate for the post of prime minister."
He added: "We reject your resignation ... because you stood with the people and not with the quota of choosing Asaad Al-Eidani," asking him to "continue to stand up for the sake of his people."
He continued: "The people's representatives will line up behind you."
At a time when, on Thursday, Mawazine News published the text of the statement of the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, on the most numerous bloc, and he apologized for assigning Asaad al-Idani as Prime Minister.
President Saleh put, according to the statement, "his resignation from the presidency of the Republic in front of members of the Iraqi parliament." Ended / 29 BC
