"We have repeatedly warned [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/324/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AD%D9%83%D9%88%D9%85%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D8%B1%D8%A7%D9%82%D9%8A%D8%A9]the Iraqi government[/url] , and we have shared information with it to try to work with it to fulfill its responsibility to protect us as guests," a senior State Department official said in press statements .
He added: "The American army and American diplomats are present in Iraq at the invitation of [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/324/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AD%D9%83%D9%88%D9%85%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D8%B1%D8%A7%D9%82%D9%8A%D8%A9]the Iraqi government[/url] . It is its responsibility and duty to protect them, but it has not taken appropriate steps to do so."
