Washington: Baghdad has failed to protect the international coalition forces

The United States of America has expressed its disappointment that Baghdad has failed to protect international coalition forces.
A senior State Department official said: The United States is "very disappointed" because of the performance of the Iraqi government regarding the implementation of its commitment to protect the coalition forces, which is led by Washington in the country.
The Iraqi government has informed the United States that Baghdad will conduct a thorough investigation and bring to justice the persons responsible for the missile attack, which occurred last week and killed two American and one British soldiers.
