, the representative of the Construction Alliance, Mukhtar al-Musawi, revealed the submission of three names as candidates for the post of prime minister.
Al-Moussawi said, "Three names were presented as candidates for the post of prime minister, including Ali Shukri, Adviser to the President of the Republic, and Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi, as well as a third military figure," noting that "Ali Shukri possesses the best chance of taking the position."
He added that "there is what is more important at the present time from the issue of choosing a prime minister, which is the repercussions of the American presence and the expected demonstrations against that presence."
Moussawi continued: "We are likely to choose one of them after the end of the repercussions of the American presence and the demonstrations called by the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, against the American presence." Ended 29 / A 43
