Deputy for the "Saeron" alliance, Riyad Al-Masoudi, expected that the appointment of the voting session on the cabinet of Prime Minister-designate Mohammed Tawfiq Allawi will face obstruction by Parliament Speaker Mohammed Al- [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] his second deputy, Bashir Al-Haddad.
Al-Masoudi said in a press statement: "The decision to determine the session of the House of Representatives is accompanied by the approval of the Speaker or the Presidency," noting: "Determining the date of the meeting will be hampered by Al- [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and Al-Haddad due to the positions of the Sunni and Kurdish blocs of the government formation."
He added: "Any further postponement of the session, after what was announced by the designate president this week, will open the door for a new crisis, because the issue of voting will take a serious turn aimed at the success of the democratic project by imposing the political will to form a government."
