The Pentagon: Iran continues to smuggle weapons to the Houthi militia, without regard for Security Council resolutions
[size]The US Department of Defense said, that Iran continues to smuggle weapons to the Houthi militia in Yemen without any regard for the decisions of the UN Security Council ..
The US Central Command spokesman Captain William Urban, during a Pentagon press conference, said that Iran continues to smuggle weapons to Yemen, In violation of international laws, those weapons are also used to attack Saudi Arabia.
A US Central Command spokesman showed pictures of the weapons seized last week, which contained 150 anti-tank missiles in the Arabian Sea.
Captain William Urban said that those arrested on arms smuggling ships were Yemeni, and were interrogated before they were handed over to government authorities in Yemen.
A spokesman for the Central American Central Command said that the Quds Force of the Revolutionary Guard militia was most likely behind the smuggling of weapons to the Houthis in Yemen.
