Allawi is in a more embarrassing position than how to assign him; he is now facing submission to what the parties want or fail to win the confidence of Parliament.
Submission will make his government a "funny cat", and rejection may overthrow him. In the first case, he will win the presidency, mock the people, and control the parties over him until it ends, and in the second case he will gain a bright spot in his history, and the separation of parties and the political process from the street deepens based on the measures of the latter.
The third scenario is that parties, or some of them, “suddenly” accepted what they refused and failed for several sessions.
I cannot find this scenario realistic without much pressure from the demonstrators. That pressure, which has lost its influence since February 1, "may" create a Shiite consensus similar to the law to expel foreign forces or split the Sunni-Kurdish alliance.
