Electricity: New projects that add 1,000 megawatts to the national system this summer

Electricity Minister Loay al-Khatib announced that the ministry has new projects in the governorates of Dhi Qar and Muthanna, which are stations for the production of the combined cycle of energy that will enter the national system thousand MW by summer.
Al-Khatib said in a press statement, "The first stage will enter 250 megawatts for each of these two governorates, followed by other units that complete the simple cycle with another 250 megawatts for each governorate at the end of the summer, provided that production takes place without any delay in the implementation process."
