The Minister of Agriculture, Saleh Al-Hassani, said that Iraq has a strategy that extends from 2019 until 2030 to achieve food security for the Iraqi citizen.
Al-Hassani added in a press interview with "Al-Iqtisad News" that a ministry has a plan to achieve food security for the Iraqi citizen that started from last year and continues until the year 2030 , indicating that Iraq raised its production of tomato per day from 500 kilograms to 6 thousand tons in an area Zubair due to the protection of agricultural crops.
He stressed that Iraq has a good marketing policy that contributed to the development of agricultural crops in addition to distributing fertilizer to farmers.
