President of the Republic, Barham Salih, confirmed on Thursday to the Ministers of Trade, Labor and Social Affairs the need to secure the ration card items and support the needy families.
A presidential statement, which received / Mawazine News / a copy of it, said that "President of the Republic Barham Saleh received today, at the Peace Palace, in Baghdad, Minister of Trade Muhammad Hashem Al-Ani, Labor and Social Affairs in the name of Abdul-Zaman."
The President of the Republic stressed "the necessity of continuing to provide foodstuffs in the local markets and secure the ration items for the citizens, and accelerate the payment of social protection salaries in a manner that contributes to supporting and supporting the needy families and enhancing the forms of solidarity and solidarity within Iraqi society."
The President stressed "the need for synergy and solidarity in this period to confront the Corona virus and limit its spread, as it represents a serious challenge that threatens the safety of our people and the people of all the world."
In turn, the Minister of Commerce reviewed, "the plans set by the Ministry to secure the ration vocabulary and follow-up procedures to facilitate the entry of goods, indicating that the Ministry has mobilized all its cadres and energies in order to provide the main requirements for citizens in these current circumstances."
The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs also presented “his ministry’s plans for the social protection network and expediting the provision of financial support to the daily workers and those covered by the protection network to compensate them for staying in their homes and providing their living necessities in the face of the Corona epidemic.” End 29 / A4
