The Parliamentary Committee on Labor, Social Affairs, Immigration and Displaced called on the government to implement its plans to provide the ration card items and strengthen it with complete food items that meet the needs of the family to achieve food security for citizens.
The head of the committee, Raad Al-Dahlaki, said: “The government’s plan was to withhold the ration card from some segments of society and identified it by name and the amount of monthly income, which is
to ensure the principle of social justice,” noting that “strengthening food security is necessary, especially in these circumstances and with the high exchange rate.” in the power of the citizens.”
And he demanded that "social justice be achieved by securing the society's nutritional needs in a smooth manner, and that plans must be based on a sober economic vision and not on the basis of an actual commercial approach, prepared by economic experts."
