"This shipment represents the first batch of quantities that have been agreed upon to supply according to timing to be agreed upon later," said Minister of Oil, head of the government delegation to Russia, Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar Ismail, who sponsored the agreement with the Russian government investment fund responsible for producing the Sputnik vaccine.
He stressed that "the agreement stipulates that the Russian Investment Fund will train a number of specialized medical teams from the Iraqi provinces in order to be familiar with the method of using this vaccine."
It is noteworthy that this agreement comes within the efforts of the Council of Ministers to provide large quantities of vaccine to citizens in a series of measures to prevent Corona virus.
