    The Commission on Human Rights issued a statement Thursday regarding the anniversary of the Anfal operations.


    The commission said in a statement received by Alsumaria News that the (thirty-third) anniversary of the heinous Anfal crime committed by the defunct political regime against our Kurdish people, which rises in its ugliness to the ranks of major crimes against humanity, killed thousands of innocent Iraqis, and destroyed villages Hundreds of thousands of unarmed civilians were arrested, displaced and displaced.
