the winning candidate in the elections, and a member of the rights movement Hussein Hashem Al-Amiri, on Monday, considered the sovereignty of Iraq a red line and it can not be crossed or violated in any way, contrary to international laws and norms and the principles of good neighborliness. Al-Amiri said in a statement that Mawazine News received a copy of it, that "Turkish violations and continuous attacks from air and artillery bombardment and incursion into Iraqi territory and the occupation of large areas and the establishment of military bases is unacceptable and cannot be allowed, especially since the Turkish presence in Iraq is unjustified and tantamount to occupation." ".
Al-Amiri stressed the need to “stay away from differences and unify the positions of political and popular forces by all parties to take firm positions regarding Ankara’s infringement of Iraq’s sovereignty,” calling at the same time the government to “follow up the issue seriously with the Turkish side and find a solution to the issue of transgression on Iraqi territory and not be satisfied with it.” Statements of condemnation, denunciation, or summoning the ambassador, as they do not represent a solution to an issue that poses a threat and a threat to the security, unity and stability of Iraq.
