    {Local: Al Furat News} The Ministry of Education is coordinating with UNESCO within the project to develop vocational education in the governorates of Baghdad, Karbala, Basra, Nineveh and Dohuk, while preparing to launch a special form to employ graduates of vocational education in the public and private sectors.

    The Director General of Vocational Education in the Ministry Duraid Dari al-Hayali said, in a press statement, that "the project aims to reform and develop vocational schools and universities within the mentioned governorates," noting that "the ministry carried out field tours to agree on the selection of schools included in the project, and the disbursement of the amounts allocated to each school, including It enables it to implement the development program within the five million euros allocated by the organization."
    He added that "the project will work on the redevelopment of schools according to their needs, in addition to meeting their need for restoration work, the introduction of modern technologies and the employment of technology in vocational education, in a way that enables the higher authorities to make optimal use of the experiences of students in vocational schools and graduates in order to supply the labor market with their professional products." .
    Al-Hayali revealed the inclusion of "four technical universities within four areas: construction, services, agriculture, information technology and communications, while focusing on enhancing performance through the establishment and operation of centers and the preparation of an updated workshop with equipment and tools and the use of modern technology."
    He announced "vigorous efforts to communicate with graduates of vocational schools through the electronic form project, which will be a gateway for communication that links graduate students from vocational schools to the labor market within their professional specializations."
    The Director General of Vocational Education at the Ministry added, "The form will also find job opportunities similar to what is done in the employment and rehabilitation centers in the universities of the country through coordination with the private, public and mixed sectors, as well as making it a focal point in coordination with them to achieve the goals set in their employment in those institutions ".
