{Local: Al-Furat News} The Ministry of Commerce announced "the imminent launch of the trial of a catering program on smart phones in Najaf Governorate."
The ministry said in a statement that {Euphrates News} received a copy of it, quoting the Director General of the Planning and Follow-up Department, Ibtihal Hashem Sabet (one of the ministry’s formations), announcing the imminent launch of a catering application on smart phones in Najaf Governorate to facilitate and simplify procedures for citizens in the implementation of transactions related to the ration card. .
The statement indicated that the experimental work will be launched with the application of (Tamweeni) in cooperation with the World Food Organization, after it was experimentally applied to a group of families in Nineveh Governorate.
Noting that "any citizen who owns the unified national card can download the application on smart phones to implement his transaction procedures and pay the collection fees through this application, that is, the head of the family can complete his transaction from anywhere without consulting the Planning and Follow-up Department or the branches and catering centers belonging to It has to complete the transaction, which saves the citizen the effort and trouble.”
He explained that "the application includes the citizen's profile and the main page of the application includes the operations of the ration card, halving, transferring, adding or deleting and other other operations. After entering any of these operations, it leads the user to another interface that includes the time taken to complete the process, collection fees and instructions for it." .
Confirmed at the time that "through this application, all documents related to the transaction and the identification documents of the citizen are attached within the application and sent to complete the transaction after verification by contacting the main database at the center of the department."
The statement pointed out that “one of the advantages of this application is that it defies all odds and exceptional circumstances, especially the recent circumstances of the spread of the Corona epidemic, as this application avoids the citizen’s routine procedures in implementing paper ration card transactions that burden him, reduce corruption and waste in public money and prevent direct friction with employees.” and eliminating paperwork, whereby the citizen can complete his transaction from inside his home.”
It is worth noting that "the Ministry of Commerce is one of the first ministries in Iraq to adopt an integrated electronic application to facilitate the transaction procedures and ease of use of the application. The fees for the transaction are paid through the same application after filling the user's electronic wallet through the payment outlets of Zain Cash and Asia Cell Hawala spread across In all governorates of the country or electronic payment cards.
