    [size=45]Today, Monday, the Parliamentary Committee for Monitoring the Implementation of the Governmental Program and Strategic Planning called on the Minister of Resources to act urgently on Iraq’s neighbors to ensure the country’s water share.[/size]
    [size=45]The media office of the head of the committee, Hazem Al-Khalidi, said in a statement that the committee "hosted the Minister of Water Resources, Mahdi Rashid Al-Hamdani, and the advanced cadre of the ministry, to discuss the implementation of the ministerial curriculum as part of the committee's endeavor to issue the second evaluation of the current government."[/size]
    [size=45]Al-Khalidi called, according to the statement, "the necessity of urgent action on Iraq's neighbors to ensure the country's share of water and not to be neglected in this important file for all segments of the people, especially in the sectors of agriculture and irrigation projects as well as water tourism."[/size]
    [size=45]He stressed "the need for the ministry to seek to review all previous contracts, specifically those that are tainted by many suspicions of corruption, pointing to the importance of seeking administrative reform within the leadership system of the ministry based on a periodic evaluation of professional and qualified cadres, calling for "eliminating the drought crisis in the center and the south and addressing the problem of high Salt tongue in Basra, pointing at the same time to the importance of addressing the problem of dilapidated dams.[/size]
