    Baghdad
(AIN) –MP, Rafea Abdul Jabbar, of the Parliamentary Foreign Relations
Committee accused that the United States of America and the United
Kingdom are attempting to keep Iraq under the Seventh Chapter of the
    UN's Charter.

Speaking to All Iraq News Agency (AIN), he
stated "There are serious intentions by Kuwait to settle the pending
issues with Iraq which is an evidence of improving the mutual relations
between the two countries to move Iraq from the Seventh Chapter to the
    Sixth one."

"The government and the Foreign Ministry are
serious in dealing with Kuwait and Kuwait expressed its readiness to
settle all the pending issues," he added, noting that "Kuwait considers
developing the economic relations with Iraq better than the other Gulf
countries because the Iraqi economy and marketing highly serve Kuwait."

    It
is worth mentioning that the Kuwaiti Prime Minister is supposed to
visit Iraq within the next few days
, but it is not clear that the
changes in the Kuwait government will postpone the visit or not.

I can't see how this can be...the most recent hold-up was the incapacitation of the President. Unless there is something I missed in the last few days.

    Alsumaria news/Baghdad

The United States, Tuesday, they work to remove Iraq from Chapter VII
of the Charter of the United Nations chapter VI, noting it has worked
dramatically for the settlement of differences between Iraq and Kuwait.

The US Ambassador in Iraq in an interview
with Stephen bikroft a number of media including Sumerian "news", that
"the United States has worked hard behind the scenes with Iraq and
Kuwait to a settlement of their differences", stating that "our United
Nations working to end the requirements of Chapter VII."

Bikroft added that "there are reviews
every six months and we hope that Chapter VII becomes chapter VI",
stressing that "the United States strongly interact with the Iraqi
Government in this field and are working to support them as much as
    possible."

The Iraqi Foreign Ministry announced, (23
October 2012), Emir of the State of Kuwait has agreed to settle the
issue of compensation to Kuwait Airways incurred by Iraq, with Kuwait
had informed the firms in Britain to stop all actions on airlines and
    property.

    Iraqi-Kuwaiti relations have
recently made progress in terms of resolving some outstanding issues, as
agreed during the visit of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to Kuwait on
14 March last, the issue of compensation for KAC and maintenance of
boundary markers, as had been agreed on the basis of common frameworks
to resolve all files, within short time frames, with Foreign Minister
Hoshyar Zebari, who accompanied Al-Maliki to visit that what has been
agreed is substantial progress with regard to Iraq out of Chapter VII.

    Kuwait has demanded since Iraq's
invasion in 1990 to pay $ 1.2 billion dollars, as compensation for
seizing 17 aircraft owned by Kuwait Airways, this has led to political
problems between Iraq and Kuwait following the recent lawsuits against
Iraqi Airways to freeze funds in Jordan and Britain early in 2010 and
which led to the adoption of the Iraqi Council of Ministers adopted a
resolution in May of the same year, the filter and the abolition of the
company and offered for sale to private companies, and also decided to
abolish all administrative profiles Associated with maintaining the staff after the sale to a private company.

The Iraq since 1990 is subject to Chapter
VII of the Charter of the United Nations imposed after the invasion of
Saddam Hussein's regime, the State of Kuwait in August of the same year,
this item allows the use of force against Iraq as a threat to
international security, as well as to freeze large amounts of stock in
banks to pay compensation to those affected by the invasion.

Also, why would the PM of Kuwait would want to come to Iraq in the NEXT FEW DAYS & have the protocols signed if the US & UK still want Iraq under CH7??? Also Iraq is NOT a threat to world peace. Someone is stirring up some bs.
