Erbil (Kurdistan 24) - The head of Iraq's Supreme Judicial Council, Faeq Zeidan, announced on Thursday that there is still no legal evidence of electoral fraud.
And the Iraqi News Agency "Ina" quoted Zaidan as saying that "until now, electoral fraud has not been proven with legal evidence."
On the other hand, Zaidan confirmed that "the investigation into the killers of demonstrators in the vicinity of the Green Zone last Friday continues, and pending the completion of the work of the investigative committee formed by the Prime Minister to present it to the judicial authority."
And last Friday, one person was killed and dozens wounded in clashes between the Iraqi security forces and protesters rejecting the results of the primary elections, in front of the gates of the heavily fortified Green Zone in the capital, Baghdad.
He also made it clear that the file of the investigation into the attempted assassination of Mustafa Al-Kazemi with the committee formed by the Prime Minister has not yet been presented to the judiciary and is still in its early stages.
