, Secretary-General of the Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq movement, Qais al-Khazali, said on Monday that the revenge for the deputy head of the Popular Mobilization Authority, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, and the commander of the Quds Force, Qassem Soleimani, would be by removing the American forces from the region and ending the presence of Israel.
Khazali stated, in a speech that was followed by Mawazine News, that "the revenge for the martyrs Soleimani and Al-Muhandis is to complete their paths and to liberate all the land of Iraq," adding that "revenge for the martyrs' leaders is by removing the Americans from the region and ending the existence of Israel."
He pointed out that "the force that the Iraqis expelled in 2012 returned later on the pretext of the presence of ISIS," continuing to say: "The Americans are only interested in Israel's security and the weakening and control of Iraq."
He continued, "Iraq and its people defeated the largest occupying force in the world in 2012, and that the Iraqi people today are better able to expel the Americans this time as well."
