Qais Khazali calls for a decision to immediately expel Turkish forces: the resistance factions will implement it and Ankara will pay the price
Shafaq News/ The Secretary-General of Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq, Qais al-Khazali, called on Friday to expel Turkish forces from Iraq immediately by a decision of the Iraqi parliament, indicating that the resistance factions will implement that decision.
This came during his visit to the family of one of the victims of the Turkish bombing in the Barkh resort in the independent administration of Zakho in the Kurdistan Region.
Khazali said, "The Turkish bombing of Zakho is a heinous crime with clear features and complete evidence," explaining that "the security services confirmed that the weapons and missiles used in the bombing of Dohuk are Turkish."
He added that "any attempt to disavow the Turkish government is rejected and it must acknowledge and bear responsibility for the crime," noting that "the government's position is weak and unacceptable and is not commensurate with a violation of the sovereignty and sanctity of Iraqi blood."
Khazali added, "Our hope is in the House of Representatives to issue a decision that the Turkish forces must leave immediately," stressing that "the resistance factions are present to implement the decision of the Iraqi people and parliament."
Khazali stressed that "if the Turkish forces do not apologize and take responsibility, they will pay the price for innocent blood," noting that "the position of Parliament and the resistance factions and the position of the people will be at the level of the Turkish bombing event."
