The Federal Integrity Commission revealed, on Tuesday, that Iraq for the first time managed to penetrate international banking secrecy.
A statement by the authority, received by Mawazine News, stated that "Iraq for the first time breached international banking secrecy, through legal procedures that enabled it to access the contents of the treasury in Switzerland."
The statement added, "Transparency International's reports for the year (2021) indicated a clear improvement and progress in the classification of Iraq among the countries of the world within the Corruption Perceptions Index report issued by the organization." Ended 29/N33
