On Saturday, a member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Hamdad Shaheen, accused the parties in the Kurdistan region of squandering wealth and controlling resources, noting that they are only interested in thefts.
In an interview with the Information Agency, Shaheen said, "The Kurdish citizen is experiencing many crises as a result of the indifference of the corrupt power parties to what the people suffer."
He added, "It is shameful that the parties in power compete for honorary positions and leave the people starving and suffering from various crises, the most important of which are poor services, fuel, the economic crisis, poverty and unemployment."
The cities of the Kurdistan region suffer from many crises, while various parties have threatened to take to the streets if the government does not meet their needs
