The deputy of the State of Law coalition, Thaer fearful, warned against leading Iraq and dragging it towards normalization with the Zionist entity by bringing in a president affiliated with Barzani's party.
He told Al-Maalouma, "The movement that took place by the tripartite coalition to obtain the President of the Republic may be one of its goals to drag Iraq towards normalization with the Zionist entity, which is something that the Iraqi people do not desire and the constitution rejects."
He added, "The coming of a president by the aforementioned coalition and going towards normalization will drag Iraq into a dangerous slide and lead the country to unimaginable consequences as a result of this step."
