    A member of the coordinating framework, Saad al-Saadi, confirmed that the coordinating framework will work to thwart the attempt to pass the Triple Alliance candidate for the presidency by having more than 130 seats in parliament, as it represents the guarantor third within the parliament.
    Al-Saadi told Al-Maalouma, "The coordinating framework has the blocking third and can thwart the attempt to pass the President of the Republic by the tripartite alliance, especially with the continuing political blockage."
    He added, "The coordinating framework has more than 130 seats in Parliament, and it guarantees that a quorum for Saturday's session will not be completed to pass the candidate of the Triple Alliance for the Presidency of the Republic."
