On Thursday, a member of the House of Representatives, inside Radi, confirmed that there is a parliamentary movement to put all northern and southern Iraq ports into a single law and mechanism.

Radi said, in a statement to the "Information" agency, that "there is a parliamentary movement within the parliament to gather Iraq's northern and southern outlets under one law to which everyone is subject and that guarantees justice and equality for all provinces."
He added, "We hope that the Presidency of the Parliament will consider the legislation of a single law to solve all the problems of the ports and definitively."
And he indicated that "after completing the file of forming parliamentary committees within Parliament, we will work on enacting a law for the ports," noting that "the failure to form committees disrupted the work of Parliament."
