Representative Alia Nassif warned against the Mayor of Baghdad allocating a plot of land on the banks of the Tigris River to establish a compound for the UAE Embassy in Baghdad, calling on the Integrity and Public Prosecution Commission to intervene and take the necessary measures in this regard.
Nassif said in a statement she received / the information / a copy of, that the mayor of Baghdad allocated a plot of land with an area of 7 acres on the banks of the Tigris River in the Karada Mariam area for the purpose of establishing a complex for the Emirati embassy without a legal cover for the allocation in terms of compliance with the provisions of real estate registration and optimal exploitation of the river bank and the principle of dealing Likewise between countries.”
