Former MP Jassem Muhammad Al-Bayati hinted that there are differences within the Barzani family regarding the direction and goal of entering and participating in forming the new government, pointing out that the Democratic Party is likely to go to the other side of the political process after the recent developments.

Al-Bayati told Al-Maalouma, “The wing of the Masoud Barzani family, with the exception of Nechirvan and some veterans of the Peshmerga, stand by the direction of the government to obtain the largest amount that can be achieved from this participation.”
He added that "Nechirvan's wing and the veterans of the Peshmerga will remain far from political competition, and it is likely that the Kurds will remain at the end of the juncture, or they will withdraw from their alliance in the political process."
And he indicated that "Massoud Barzani has good relations with the Sunnis, and his going to the edge of the political process will be followed by the Sunni axis going towards this option, especially after the recent developments in the political process." finished 25
