Politician Jamal Al-Shammari criticized, on Tuesday, the position of the Iraqi Foreign Ministry towards the US embassy, noting that the mentioned embassy had turned into a snake's den.
In an interview with Al-Information, Al-Shammari said, "Pompeo's statements show that the US embassy in Baghdad lost its diplomatic horse when it turned into a nest of snakes that assassinate Iraqi national leaders with criminal operations with the complicity of some."
He added, "The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which is concerned with the necessity of responding to Pompeo's statements and the facts that it contained, is a silent house, even though what happened is a tragedy for all Iraqis, without exception, after targeting the victory leaders."
Al-Shammari indicated that “the exploitation of the embassy building to organize plots and assassinations in Baghdad is a very dangerous matter that should not pass without a patriotic position, whether from the Foreign Ministry or the government, which is still in a timid position regarding the events.” Finished / 25 F
