Al-Sadr: Iraq has become a prisoner of corruption, dependency and foreign interference
Shafaq News/ The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, criticized on Saturday the political situation that Iraq is going through.
This came in a congratulatory telegram he sent to the Iraqis on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, which he posted on social networking sites "Twitter".
Al-Sadr said in his publication, "Iraq has become a prisoner of corruption, dependency and external interference."
It is noteworthy that the leader of the Sadrist movement withdrew from the political process in Iraq despite his bloc achieving the highest votes in the early legislative elections that took place last year, in protest against obstructing his efforts to form a majority political government in an attempt to change the pattern of governance in Iraq that was based after the fall of Saddam's regime Hussein in 2003 on the national and sectarian quotas.
